RECAP: After passing on a chance to claim a $25,500 payday by going to the tail after winning the pole, Shane Clanton rode off into the night and collected a $4,000 check. The only test Clanton endured was a charge from Donald McIntosh with about fifteen laps to go. Late race cautions kept the rest of the field at bay and Shane was able to pick up the win in the first Late Model race in over 45 days that took place in Brasstown, NC.

The event was promoted by Southern Nationals Series Promoter Ray Cook. 25 drivers competed in a invitational only event that had strict social distancing orders in place. Haulers were parked thirty feet apart, crew members were limited and no fans were in attendance. Kyle Hardy was the fast qualifier on the night. Shane Clanton won the dash which put him on the pole for the nights event and Hudson O'Neal and Shannon Buckingham picked up the heat wins. Twenty cars started the 40 lap feature event.
