Gibson City, Illiiois driver Kevin Weaver was in a different time zone all night long. After a dominating heat win Kevin took the lead at the start and didn't look back having a nearly have a track lead in the middle stages of the feature event. Late race lap traffic allowed Eric Smith to close the gap but Weaver was just too much. Mike Spatola rounded out the top 3.

Allen Wiesser won a thrilling Modified feature on Friday night. (Dylan Graves Photo)

Young 15 yr old Michael Ledford was so close to his first career win at Farmer City Friday night in the Modified division. After taking the lead early on Ledford seemed to be checked out the rest of the field. It was a late race caution that the more experienced Weisser was able to take the lead. Ledford who had been running the top groove decided to protect the bottom lane on the restart and Allen Weisser went to the top in turns one and two and pulled off the pass. Ledford and Weisser made contact going into turn three as he tried to hold off Weisser. In the final corner Michael made one last attempt driving it in deep into the final corner with a slide job on Weisser. Allen was able to cross him back over as the young Ledford jumped the cushion and got in the wall. Weisser drove on past the finish line for the win.

Aaron Heck kept up his winning ways at Farmer City Friday night. (Dylan Graves Photo)

Aaron Heck continued his winning ways Friday night at Farmer City. Coming from the 7th starting spot Aaron used a couple of good race restarts to get around cars and get to the front. Lap traffic played a factor in this one as lap traffic was thick for the leader Heck. Chris Dick closed in and was close to taking the lead away from Heck in the closing laps but was able to deal with the lapped cars a little better than Dick. Jake Little came home third behind Heck and Dick.
