Rain Halts Shirley's Bid for Hell Tour Win, Bell Returns to Lincoln Victory Lane

June 30, 2019

Before Mother Nature put a halt to the racing action Sunday night Nascar star Christopher Bell was able to put the Chad Boat entry into victory circle at the Lincoln Speedway. Christopher Bell is no stranger to Lincoln's victory lane as he has won there in the past.

Christopher was not the only Nascar affiliated driver on the grounds at Lincoln Speedway Sunday night. Justin Allgaier, David Stremme and veteran Nascar star Kenny Wallace were all participating in Modified action.

16 laps into the Summer Nationals Late Model action rain started to fall and the rest of the event had to be postponed. The Summit Modified feature was as well not ran. Lincoln and Dirtcar are working on a plan to complete the show. Fans have been encouraged to hang on to their armbands.

Heat Race winners in Late Model action were Jason Feger, Brian Shirley & Billy Moyer.
